So I bought a Diana Mini and some assorted films for it. The first three rolls came out pretty good. This fourth one I used was Agfa Vista 800 Expired film. I figured since it was a high ISO I could get away with a slightly dim setting. To my surprise most of my exposures came out completely grainy. I ended up only keeping one picture. I remember taking a few pictures at IHOP. I remember taking pictures with a 100 ISO film and came out with much better clarity than these. What am I doing wrong? Did I get bad film? There's a link below with all the digitals of the roll. Thanks in advance!

Most people are not going to download unknown files from new members - you'd be best to use the gallery on the forums or a 3rd party image host (flickr, photobucket) and host the images online that way. You can then also show a select few directly in the forum thread itself. Have a read of this thread here:

For more information.

Doesn't sound like anything went wrong to me. 800 ASA film is going to be quite grainy under optimal circumstances, never mind being out-of-date.

What he said about links!!

Well for one, you've already stated the film was expired..

For two, at high asa's, you're going to have grain.

Haha I'm only 19. I just Learned it as ASA in my high school photography class, so I've come to use ASA in reference to film, and iso in reference to digital.

That's funny - the switch to ISO as the film speed standard happened 5 years before you were born.

ISO 800 colour neg film shouldn't be very grainy unless it has been underexposed.

This is ISO 800 film, and not the latest generation:
