I'll shoot anything but my favorites are ones that make a person reflect about what's happening. If I can make them stop for one second and transport them to a place that demands they use their imagination, create an untold story in their mind, or if they feel love & romance when viewing...then I've accomplished what I was after.
Mostly landscape, and still life subjects. My two newest lens purchases were done to allow me more dabbling in other forms of photography. Such as my 50mm f/1.8 for portraits, and my 55-250mm zoom lens for wildlife and close ups.
I've been told I'm a people person. Yet, photographing people freaks me out. You mess up on a landscape, oh well. You make someone's little girl look like a gremlin fed after midnight, and the **** will hit the fan.
Really any kind of landscape, but lately I've been getting more into long night exposures. It's kind of a niche I haven't seen many others do extensively. Some examples:
I am a nature photographer through and through. I like to play with portraits and artsy abstract stuff but I will never love it like I love hiking and finding something amazing and getting the shot. I am particularly fond of reptiles since that is my true passion and photography is just something that I picked up to express my love for herpetology.
There is nothing greater than finding a snake I have never seen before and photographing it. It just gives me such joy that I can't find in portraiture or abstract or cityscape...
Pretty much anything.... but I haven't found the genre that I'm geared towards yet (read I'm really not that good at anything yet). The only one that I have gotten some real keeper images in is high speed photography. I'm reading up on and playing with lots of different things, so I will find my skills eventually. I know they are in there somewhere.
Landscapes and animals,
I would say skateboarding but ive only done skateboard photography a couple of times because of the weather, but once summer comes skateboarding might be ontop : P
Generally I really enjoy shooting lanscapes, nature shots, and street scenes, although I find I have developed a recent interest in abandoned buildings. I have never really enjoyed doing portrait shots, but the fact that I am a complete beginner may factor into that. I really don't enjoy that type of interaction with people, though, so I can't imagine it would end up being something I really like.

I shoot anything... mostly photos of other people though. I really enjoy working with couples and families. But I also enjoy taking photos of my animals, and little unique objects we have around the house.
I love photographing wildlife - in particular birds in flight. I'm limited by my 200mm lens and currently being with out my car , but I get my fix in the local parks for now. I do like landscapes too, but don't "go looking for them" as much as wildlife.
