I like the idea, but I would probably hand-tint the various sections of the photo for better consistency. For instance, add the cool blue tint to the whole photo, then decide which areas you want to contrast with different tones.

I like the composition, but i would flip the colors, make the boiler cold blue color and give the girl some warmer colors instead of cold

Hell, with the way she dressed, I would make the whole thing really really cold. Make the room look like it is a big freezer.
