While I fundamentally agree that art is about discovery and understanding (rather than about communication) his artist statement is utter gobbly gook.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, but it looks ok to me - not my kind of thing though.

Nice classical composition, well defined color palette, goes with the couch. What else is there? You want a naked girl or something? Well, the wife doesn't, so there.

I don't want anything naked. If it at least had a Dog it would be worth it. But this with the sun on top of it? God No. My 7 year old niece captures even better pictures and she doesn't even know anything other than what to click to get the picture.

I honestly don't know why this bothers anyone. It's no skin off any of our noses, after all. If the guy can sell them, good for him. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I agree. Although it's not something I like, it's not bad. There was obviously some thought that was put in.
