I went to the zoo and took a few pictures! Just a few that I really liked. Please let me know what you think of them and anything you would do differently!

Zoo shots are always tough as you rarely have the option of getting into the best shooting position. That said, you've done well here. In #1, it looks like you may have missed focus slightly as the eyes don't appear quite sharp. I would consider cropping this more tightly on the cat's head to avoid bits of missing limbs.

#2 is nicely done, very minor blown highlights on the crown, but you've got good exposure of the shadow (near) side of the face, which is important. A shame you couldn't have gotten him (her?) to turn just ever so slightly toward you.

#3 - the best of the lot. I love the expression and composition here. Well shot!

Love the third one! I think the composition is great and very unique. I think you missed the focus on #1.

Yep, joining the crowd, #3 is a winner. #1 focused more on the tongue instead of the eyes.

#2 is okay. I think I would have liked better it in portrait.

Thanks John, I guess I never really saw that on the first one, tongue seems more in focus then the eyes. I will crop it later and see if that helps. Thanks so the tips it really help me for future picture taking!!
