One which flashes.

Seriously, any flash, doesn't even need to be fully manual. A flash with a "test" button to trigger it would be a bonus, but even without one it's trivial to trigger a flash.

I use an SB-600, It was right around $200. You could even use the cheaper SB-400, but i liked the adjustment of the 600. Are you Shooting Nikon?

Nope, Canon. But I know the Canon equivalent of the SB series.
