What kind of camera for these types of shots?

I knew I was going to get a couple bull****/smartass responses. I just like how they look similar to photos from the 80's/early 90's and wanted to know how she achieved that quality.

One of my friends posted these photos on her Facebook, and I was wondering - how did she achieve that old, faded look? Is it possible she just used an older camera for this? I would personally ask her myself, but I wouldn't want her to know that I'm interested in jockin' her style.

If you want this look is really really easy. All you need is a 35mm camera, and underexpose the film. Doesn't need to be good or bad. Lousy processing can help a little too, walgreens/walmart should suffice. You can pick up a 35mm camera from Goodwill for a couple bucks, buy another roll of film for another couple bucks, the processing/scanning shouldn't be more than $10, you can do it for under $30 easy.

So it does...my mistake. I read it but somehow missed that. It was probably because my eyes involuntarily glaze over whenever I read the word 'Facebook.' She will probably realized her style has been ?‘jocked’? when she sees you posted similar photos once you have figured out how. In any case, this effect is nothing unique or proprietary so I would just ask her.
