thanks for the hint with the name of maker but i still cant find anything that gives me faith in a certain mount :/
but i think id like to get it but do you guys the $50 or so to get it and ship it will be worth it or do you think its not a very good lens??
thoughts ?

That price sounds pretty average for a 50mm lens, though I cannot comment on the quality as I am nor familiar with it. For comparison, Ive got an old Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 and they sell on ebay for £25-£50 (Over $50 USD)

Based on the description is sounds like a Fujica X mount.

After Googling it, I agreed with Gary at first, but the eBay auction definitely shows a bayonet mount

I think I might give it a miss as I have never heard of this mount and obviously never seen an adapter ring for this mount
