The last one is quite startling.

I don't know where the light on her eyes is from, which is incongruous, but it's so absolutely right that I don't particularly care where it's coming from. To me this is easily the strongest of a strong bunch of images. There's the metaphor of the cage in it, which I think pushes this above a "movie still" sort of shot into something that captures a larger idea of the film noir. It's more of a complete movie compressed into a single frame.

Ok, that's probably 50 percent bull, but I don't know which half, so I am gonna let it stand. Hopefully there's something in there you can take away and use!

#3 (mono with the shade on the right) is the most "classic". #4 is riveting (in a very good way) and original. The shadows make her look like Catwoman, and the catchlights really anchor the image. Very creative lighting. The only nit on the last one is that her skin lightens up a little next to her dress (her left, our right) which doesn't seem consistent with the light.

#2 in color and B+W work well for me although all are good. The fact that the hand is lit but you don't see a shadow on her face is cool.

The light is from the light which is in front of me, about lower chest height, angled up to her. She's about 3 foot away from the light.
I'll accept 50% bull alongside 50% good critique.

I could probably vignette it a little more, bring down the skin of her arms.

Nifty. I REALLY like the second and third shots; the color is nice, the B&W is nice. My feeling though is that this needs a bit of space cropped off the top. The images are rather squareish and squat as-shown. Cropping them to a more-horizontal aspect ratio will REALLY help the imapact. Right now, her eyes are too-centered, and it's making the whole composition feel static and off-kilter. He eye gaze is exceptionally strongly rightward-gazing; having the eyes in the middle of a square frame is killing that. Her eyes are just simply too low; ORRRRRR, there's too much top space above them! (I can't decide which it is! lol)
