What was your least favorite lens?

Very possible. I purchased it as a refurb from Nikon, but after having it briefly ended up reselling it. No major gripes there I guess, I got almost as much for it as I paid so it really didn't cost me anything.

My 105 f2.8 macro. It's a great portrait and macro lens. However, the focal length and aperture is just out of place for what I do. So at every wedding, I use it as a macro lens just for 1 shot.

The nikkor 60mm macro was my worst purchase in terms of use.

The lighting might well have been an issue as well, on a lot of those shots I'd be dealing with a mixture of both sunlight and electric light. Either way most of my lenses handled it fairly well in regards to CA but the 85 was a train wreck in that regard. Shame, it took beautiful shots outdoors, but wasn't really worth it to me to keep for what would be such limited use

I think I've been disappointed with a slew of lenses:
16-85 VR -> Too expensive for what it was ($700), outdated when I bought it which was I think only 6 years after it was released.
Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 -> Also too expensive ($480) for what it was. Again, outdated when I bought it.
Nikon 35mm 1.8G (DX) -> Inaccurate focusing. Front or back, I forget. I didn't have focus calibration on my D5200.
Sigma 18-35 Art -> Jiggling focus ring, inconsistent focus. It was SHARP, had great bokeh, everything about it was awesome. But the combination of inconsistent focus, and that faulty jiggling focus ring, just bugged me every time I picked it up.

I like all of my other lenses. My 50mm 1.8G feels a little cheap in the hand. My 85mm 1.8G does have purple fringing issues that usually can be fixed or anticipated. My 150-600 Sigma isn't as sharp as a prime lens! My Tamron 15-30 came with a faulty weather sealing ring (a small part of it is cracked or mis-shapen and isn't properly inserted into the lens) -- easily fixable and it probably is sealed. My Tamron 15-30 also has a little bit of a clicking noise to it when it zooms in and out (looked it up, the 24-70 f2.8-ii Canon lenses have this issue). From 18 seconds and onward you can hear something similar: (I think it's just due to a slightly overly large spring inside the lens).

There I complained. About everything.

Well that would be my first exchangeable lens, ever:

AF-S Nikon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 VR

On the rare occasions I used it, it was always set to 18mm because for any other focal I already had my 35mm f1.8 DX or 55-200mm f4-5.6 VR and also at 18mm it offers 1:3.2 macro magnification.

In hindsight I should have gotten an AF-S 12-24mm f4 or a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 instead.

Well, I quickly left this glas behind and switched to full frame. I like all my full frame glas.

It was too much of a hassle. I hate dealing with warranty, mailing things, waiting, possibly getting it back fixed possibly not. Plus the cost of s&h, the time wasted deal with it all. I sold the lens for a $20 or $30 loss.

I absolutely hate dealing with warranties.

I had a Prinz 500mm Mirror reflex lens. Technically its a T-Mount but I had it adapted to nikon F mount. I think I paid 20$ at a flea market for it. Its fixed at F8, manual focus. I tried it a few times and was never able to get a useable shot with it, traded it away at some point for something, it was basically a paperweight for most of my ownership of it.

I guess mine would be the Sigma 150-600C. It nearly drove me to strip down naked and walk into church, it gave me a dangling spirit. However, I remained steadfast and firm, it is now one of my favorites, thus sparing a congregation much needed new material to gossip about.

Not really a Lens but the Nikon PB4 Bellows that I got at a Pawnshop.
Used it once, had to spend hours cleaning my sensor.
Sold it off for a little less than I paid for it.

Lenswise: Sigma 10-20mm
I got it on a whim wanting a wide angle. Pretty soon realised that I don't really like shooting wide angle.

Easy. Nikon used to make a 43-86 zoom lens. Not good. I don't miss it.

I had that one. And it's a stinker. I had an extra EM that I sold, and that was the lens that went with it. A pity, since it really covered a useful range for that time.

Hmm ? Say what ?

I managed some excellent pictures out of that one. Is tack sharp at 55mm even wide open, impressive for such a cheap zoom. Up to about 135mm it was still fine, at 200mm though I would rather try to stop down.

I hated my 18-55mm much more. Both ends of the zoom range are no good, and stop it down to f/8 at all times. Yuck !

I bought a Canon 28-135 IS on the advice of a salesman with my first dslr (50D). Not only was the image quality poor but the range didn't suit the camera. I didn't really like that one
