I have a large bar above my worktable and I need a mount to position my Canon 60D so it shoots straight down onto the table. I'm going to be recording video with it and it would be nice to have something that can shoot from high angles.

Thanks in advance:thumbup:

I would probably just get a $0.20 long 1/4 20 machine screw at Ace and a nut, drill a hole straight through the bar, and screw one of my existing ball heads onto it.
This is assuming that you have a ball head or similar sitting around, and that this is not your great-grandfather's antique heirloom bar.

It's a bar that I hang backdrops from, I just thought I would be nifty and use it to mount the camera for a topside view.

I'm not too familiar with clamps, I usually order them and when I get them I see that I ordered the wrong ones. Could you possibly list all the pieces I would need to order to make this happen, including the camera mount itself. Thanks in advance!!
