Not sure if I want to snag the D500 after prices come down a little and issues have been worked out, or go full frame.

Not aware anyone reported any issues with the D500 yet.

New glass is probably on the list too, but that list is never ending.

Personally I have a pair of workhorse zooms, wide and tele, and a prime trinity including a macro, and also a 300mm for head portraits. I think I'm all set, really.

I haven't seen any either. I guess I meant if they arise.

I don't have the glass I would like right now. I do alright with what I have, but I would like some better stuff. And even if I did have exactly what I want right now, new stuff is always coming out.

My GF has a 300mm f/2.8
I'm not sure what they feed you but that lens is really heavy. And you'll have to yell at your subject.

The new Nikon 300mm f/2.8 isn't all that heavy. It's quite amazing how they got it as small as they did. But yeah, that's pretty far.

just picked up a Nikon D750.
Not really planned but found it was necessary as the D600 took a tumble.

I'm sure next week Nikon will post that the D760 will be out shortly !!

I'm probably going to send my D200 to LifePixel and get their Full Spectrum conversion so my D200 will then 'see' H-alpha, UV, and IR in addition to human visible light wavelengths.

Not really planned but found it was necessary as the D600 took a tumble.

Exactly like my story, the D600 fell down and was a complete loss.

I dont expect the D760 before end of year / start of next year, but then again who knows.

Still have my 1st gen Canon 7D. Thought of getting a Sony full frame body with adapter to my Canon mount lenses last year .. but I doesn't really need it. The more I look at, the more I think I may not really need a full frame camera.

I really do not enjoy carry a lot of lenses and heavy equipment nowadays, so a full frame camera does not really help much with that issue. But for sure the next cam I am going to get is the Samsung gear VR (when it officially arrive in US) which allow me to take 360 photos or video without breaking a bank (such as rather than getting 6x GoPros with the special mount to achieve 360 views).

The last Sony P&S RX100 III I bought for my wife still impress me sometimes. So a good point and shoot camera or mirrorless are still on my next camera to get list.
