When watching a foreign language movie, what is your preference?

I like subtitles. A foreign film whose dialogue I do not understand, watched in a cinema in another foreign country whose native subtitles I do understand..that's fun

Subtitles. I can't stand watching dubbed movies.

My wife and I get in arguments every time we watch a foreign movie ... she hates subtitles.

Dislike dubbed movies, the voices are horrible most of the time and subtitles translate much better.

I don't think anyone that enjoys cinematography and good acting will say that they enjoy dubbed films over subtitled. I find it to be too distracting to not have the talking synced properly.

Listen to it, without the subtitles and pick up an understanding of the language. That is what I do.
