We have friends who can have snow in shaded spots in their yard during the annual Memorial Day party.

oh they must live by a lake too...lol.. lake effect snow is always going if you live by lake Ontario..

It doesn't happen all the time but, if there has been a lot of snow over the winter and especially if it comes late, there is a good chance for a pile or two of snow in some shady spots during the Memorial Day bash.
