Where Have All The Cows Gone...

...apologies to Paula Cole. There seems to be a never-ending supply of old, dilapidated barns in this country. It can't be because there are fewer cows, although there are fewer in my area now. I suspect they have been moved to huge, modern beef cattle facilities that I would not enjoy making pictures of. And maybe I do prefer these relics that pepper Feather River Country and give me inspiration.

I remember that song AND that musical era! Soooo much promise from the artists of that era, but only a couple ever made it past the initial wave of what radio was calling "beat music"...sad...

I saw the original image, and thought the vignette at the top was too strong. This looks better, but I think it might look better if the WB were warmed up a bit more, and the overall brightness were dropped a little more, so it looks more like a June evening, an hour or so before nighttime.
