So I want to buy an entry level dslr . My budget is from 500-600 euros and i have some options . One of them is a nikon d5300 with a 18-55mm , a 55-200mm , a tripod and a case for 550 euros .

A nikon d3500 with a 18-55mm lene and a 70-300mm AF-P DX VR for 450 euros

Then both the canon 2000d (t7) and the 750d (t6i) cost 400 dollars , and i am thinking of buying a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM for a total cost of 575 euros

Which one would you pick . Also is there a sensor difference between the 2000d and the 750d ? And what are the key differences between the d5300 and the 3500 (apart from the superior auto focusing system of the d5300)

thanks to anyone who answers

is there any tangible difference between the d5300 sensor quality and the d3500's ?

the canon 200d costs 440 euros with a standard 18-55mm lens and (ironically) 475 euros with no lens . So i dont think it is worth it when the 750d is 400 euros the d3500 with the telephoto at 450 and the 2000d for 390 or so. Is there any big difference though between the 750d/2000d and the 200d?

Question:
is there any tangible difference between the d5300 sensor quality and the d3500's ?[

I am going to say, based on the D5300 vs D3400 comparison, that there is NO really practical, significant difference. The scores are close, and the differences are very small on the low-light ISO scale...the difference is probably 1/3 of an EV value, despite the 1192 vs 1338 ISO difference.

Nikon D3400 vs Nikon D5300 | DxOMark

Modern NIKON s-slr cameras have amazing RAW FILE exposure recovery capability. Better than what many other cameras can do. Look into "ISO invariance"...this is a feature these two modern Nikons have.

Good to know ! Thanks ! I have seen some amazing exposure recovery from an old d200 so I reckon that the d3500 is going to be at least on par with the decade old camera
