which camera to buy ?

I 'm about to buy a digital camera but I"m hesitating between canon EOS 350 and Olympus E-500; I would like to have some advices. I was working with a Canon EOS 300 but I want to change for a Digital one now so I'm beginner about it.

Have a look on dpreview and compare the exact features side-by-side and then go to a shop and have a feel and see which you prefer. The Canon has a wider range of slightly more affordable accessories, so this might sway your decision.

This is a good post because I have questions about this camera too. How come the Canon E0s 350D at this site http://store.tcscamera.com/canondrxt.html
is only $409 and on newegg it is 799 without a lense? this dosent make sense.

They're pretty much unrated. My guess, and this could be a very unfair guess, but... They may be one of the dodgy stores that takes out the charger, caps, battery, etc. etc. and then charge you a fortune for "upgrades".
