Since the D7000 can use and meter virtually all of the Nikon lenses from AI to present, the answer to your question is "almost anything you want."
For $400, you could get two of my favorite lenses, the 50mm f1.8 ($100 new) and the 135mm f2.8 (MF only on the 135mm, $150 used) and have $150 left over to get a medium zoom like the Nikkor 28-70 3.5-4.5 AF-D (about $90 on ebay used)
Or you can save your money up and get a faster zoom lens like the 80-200 AF-S ($800 ish used on ebay) or the 70-200 AF-S VR ($1600 ish used)
There are tons and tons of lenses out there. I'm just not a big fan of the 18-105. If you decide to go with the 18-105 buy it used on ebay or craigslist for$250, rather than paying $400 in the package deal for it.
D7000 hands down over the 60D and ya pass on the 18-105 kit lens. Might as well buy the body and pick up a 18-200 VR used off craig for 500ish... totally worth the 100$ extra for a all purposes amateur lens; also if you could squeeze a flash in there, I strongly suggest one. Don't get me wrong, the on-camera flash is nice but does not compare to an actual flash.
Personally I would save up for pro lens after purchasing a body with a lens or two; the difference is night and day.
Last week the road was purple, but this week it's blue, so you should probably stay to the left so you don't run into the orange one on the other side of February.
