Hi everyone, bit of a query, any thoughts / suggestions gratefully received!

I use a FF 1Ds mark III, but have just bought a 7D 2nd body. I'm pretty well covered glass wise, but would ideally like something that i can use as a fisheye (either zoom or prime) on the FF, but which is more like the 17 - 40 on the crop 7D. Was looking at the sigma 8 - 16 4.5 to 5.6 which would be fine on the 7D but would it work ok on the full frame? (obviously there'd be some vignetting i assume?) but with it being sigma's DC designation are all the contacts in the same place etc?
Any other suggestions? (yes, i'm aware of the upcoming canon 8 - 15L but £1300's a bity steep for my pocket!)

Cheers

Dave

I know sigma makes the 8-16, tokina makes the 10-17, but, like you said, they're both for crop bodies..

If you can get along without autofocus, the Rokinon 8mm is a very affordable fisheye with great image quality. On crop, it's not as much of a fish eye but still very wide.
