Which laptop will be best for editing photos and videos

Thought I get away with an anti virus prog, no such luck. So it’s isolated the lap top from the net and use it just for photography work.

The problem is you have to KEEP IT ISOLATED. This also means turning WiFi OFF.
If you forget to activate the AV program and plug in to the net or turn WiFi on, you could be in trouble.

I use my MBP for working on photo editing and my PC for playing games.

AC12 I know I have started and found it’s no as easy as I thought. Spent two hours last night disabling the WiFi A’s darn thing wants to automatically connect never realised there were so many WiFi connections round me. As I blocked one it would look for the next I expected some problems so that’s why I started now
Seen a good used win 10 lap top but shop is closed to Monday. On some better news I get my 71 inch by 12inch panarama photo Monday. Now I have to find a bit of wall space. The last big photo I did like that is on a fence outside where I can see it when I wash up, nice in the gray days in the winter to see a summer beach/sea pic lol

Can you disable the WiFi transceiver itself in the computer?
That would be easier than chasing the many routers out there, only to have another one pop up/

Hi well since adding my thoughts here I have been hit with the windows 7 end of life notice. Now I will have to look for a new pc as well noted comment on hard drive and added to my list

DANG, my laptop is running Win7.
Can't upgrade to Win10, no drivers for that PC.
I guess I will see just how much longer I can keep it going.

I have a old Sony Laptop which shipped with Windows Vista and have a free upgrade to Win7 when it was released. And that Sony Laptop is running Win10 ever since the Free Win10 upgrade is available. There is a chance it will works after the upgrade. Of course, getting a new PC will solve the problem for sure. :D

Edit: Just want to point out that during the Windows 10 Upgrade, the upgrade software will scan your PC and tell you if any of the components in your PC is not compatible. (I am currently upgrading a old Compaq PC as I am typing now, it said the onboard video card is not compatible. So I just need to add a video card that works in Win10 after the upgrade)

A laptop is WYHISWYG
What You Have Is What You Got
The video is part of the system board, no option to upgrade.

The other problem is, web pages have been adding so much stuff that requires more graphics processing, that the old PCs just can't keep up.
