Which lens is good for photographing big city buildings?

Hello,
I am going to be in Germany and will be in big cities and would like to take good pictures. I was trying to decide which wide angle lens I should rent. Please see the list and suggest me the one I should get - http://www.lensrentals.com/category/canon-wide

FYI - I am using Canon 30D and I have the kit lens (28-135mm) and the 50mm lens.

The usual 'kit' lens is the 18-55mm. I think you would be fairly limited with only 28mm as your shortest focal length.

What's your budget?

You could pick up the 18-55mm for very little. It's not a great lens, but it's wider than what you have.

If you really want to get a wide angle view, have a look at the Canon 10-22mm or the Sigma 10-20mm.

If you want to get serious about architectural photography, then get yourself a Tilt/Shift lens like THIS.

I would take the widest possible lens. In this case the Canon 10-22mm.

Or if it's cheaper to rent the Sigma 10-20mm is a great choice too.
