Which lens was this taken with? Help...

Hi guys, I was wondering if you guys can help me out, I found some really awesome photos, and I was wondering if anyone could help me guess, at which lens, was used, or at least focal length...I know they were taken with a Canon. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

You're entiteled to your opinion, however in this case it is incorrect. He is violating the terms of usage of TPF and potentially the copyright of the original photographer.

They were taken with the Sigma 200-500mm f2.8. Probably at around 213mm.

Sure, it may have been better if he linked the photos and posted who the copyright belongs to, but I'm still not seeing any problem. There's a big difference between someone who has the wrong intentions of using a photo and someone who has the right intentions. He just wants to learn new things....everybody knows that feeling in photography. When I first got into photography, I did the same thing every day, always asking how this & that was taken. It's not like I have the wrong intentions, I just want to learn new things to make my work look better. I respect every photographer who has those intentions.

I can understand that. I just don't want anybody jumping all over him just for his intentions. I've been going through a lot of that myself lately....just hate seeing it happen when it does.

No one is jumping all over him for his intentions They just simply stated, that he shouldn't post photos of anybody but himself.
So many words because someone can't understand basic rules of the forum...
