They are both pretty good shots. I think I am leaning towards the B&W one though.

on my screen the B&W one looks washed out around the face...
did you try to use the channel mixer when you converted it? You should if you didn't... and try to keep the details.

I agree completely. The color shot isn't bad, I just think a good b/w conversion would be much more dramatic.

In the channel mixer I pulled more green instead of red... if you use red the lips/skin tones will disappear.

I tried that...but her right arm looks wierd if i put the hand in...

I think with this pose you got it with the first crop... if her left arm wasn't above her head then I think the second crop would work.

I like the close crop to the left but yes her right arm does look weird sticking out to no where!
