Which was the first digital camera you ever owned?

And what/which was your last film camera?

Nikon F90 and Nikon N90S, both bought in 2009. I was taking a photo class at UMD and needed a film SLR, and my youngest son was taking a photo class in high school.

And what/which was your last film camera?

Pentax P-3n, purchased in 1989, used until 2008 (it was a second body to a Pentax Super Program until some time around 2000)

Canon Xap shot. It was the ONLY digital camera at the time.

Up until a year ago I was still shooting film. Seriously...I've never put my hands on a point and shoot digital.

And what/which was your last film camera?

The Elan IIe...still have it, great camera. I kind of miss the eye controlled focus thing. It was a bit wonky, but I would love it with these multi point focusing systems in the new DSLRs. So much better then pressing a button until you get the right point to light up.

For me it was a used Nikon Coolpix 3200. Was a great camera. Screen was tiny and slow as hell, but great on a tripod. I had a wide angle lens attachment that was twice the size of the body!

The Elan IIe...still have it, great camera. .

I still have my ElanIIe paired to a Tamron 35-105 f/2.8. Great design, layout and comfortable to hold with the heavy Tamron lens attached. It was my first Canon camera coming from a Minolta 7000 and Pentax film cameras.

First digital camera I used was an Apple Quicktake 100 (it was my father's).
Last film camera I used was a Canon Canonette GIII.

Favorite P&S was the Sony Mavica FD-5 in TIFF mode. I'd carry around a box of floppies, one image per disk. But the Starship Polaroid PDC-3000 was very cool.

Canon Powershot S40, purchased for ~$800 in 2001. Died after about a year and a half...

First one I owned for myself was a graduation gift in 2006 and it was the Kodak Z650. Which I still own, it's completely worn but works like a charm. I love it too much to just give it up.
