Shot of a lifetime, I'd say. Good thing there's additional lifetime in which to enjoy the shot!

How I do miss thunderstorms. Thunder and lightning is a fairly rare occurance in the Anchorage area.

I wish I had my camera right before my husband and I got married. He was a crane operator way back then (LOL) and was out of town near San Antonio on a job. The weather was really bad, but he continued to work getting a cellular tower hung and as he was climbing out of his crane to get out of the storm - WHAM! he was struck by lightening...he was fine though, it hit him in the hand.
