Wide variety of birds today

Thanks everyone.

So I was re-visiting some of the files from that day and found this one that I forgot to process...kinda noisy but it was interesting, I liked the warm light on the bird (not sure what kind this is), against the cool colors of the ice

And I thought this one was funny, the area around the ONE opening in the ice was so busy (at least IMO, even though its classified as 'low activity season') with avian activity, that they were even flying through my shots...heheh

kinda looks like a green heron, but I don't think they are common there.

Thanks Ed, I was stoked to get an owl, that's the first one I've been able to capture and image of.

@CC I think you're right about the juvenile black crowned night-heron, I was thinking #10 and #11 was a juvenile GBH, but now I'm thinking that is an adult black crowned night heron.
