Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Something happened a few weeks ago and now suddenly I don't have an option to 'Eject' or 'Safely Remove' my camera from my computer. I figured, okay usual windows crap and I just turn the camera off when I'm done importing.

But now when I import photos, sometimes I get an error and I have to click 'Try again', and it works. I thought it's the card so I used another one, and the same thing.

Anyone have any ideas?

PS: Windows 7

The little icon disappeared?

If it just happened recently, have you tried System Restore?

The little icon is there, but it doesn't like the camera as a device. Nor when I right click the camera in Windows Explorer is 'Eject' an option.

Have you restarted W7 lately to see if that corrects the problem?

You may also try reinstalling/repairing the camera's download software.

Windows by default is set for safe removal mode. Unless you changed something, as long as it's not actively reading or writing, just pull it.
