wow very nice, works on a lot of levels. only thing that bothers me is the shadow that cuts past her. kid shot's aren't easy to begin with, then toss in environmental factors like the wind, and you got a hell of a difficult shot to reproduce. any backstory on how you got the shot?

I'm guessing the vails (minus top one on right side of image) were added in post, if so...with shadows on everything else, there is no shadows created by the vails, sort of sticks out to me.


Love the idea though, very cute picture, regardless.

I was thinking the same thing as Geaux is the pink veils a post pro effect? If so what did you achieve that with? I think it's a really creative and cool photo, I do feel like the most forward veil makes it clear that I am looking at a post processing effect and kind of ruins the almost organic look the other veils have but I really love the picture all together.

Yes some of the vails were shopped in but some of them didn't even cast a shadow at all which was weird.

Below is the batch of pictures I used minus some trees I shot to be added in.

Stitched together and used the mask tool with some motion blur and Gaussian blur.

Thank you, I really wanted to add that one in the foreground for my personal pref. I really like conceptual fantasy stuff and having all of these fly around just makes me love that we can create anything we imagine.

I am going to start doing behind the scenes videos and I will be sure to share them here first.

Very creative, but when shooting something that you'd like to add into a scene later, it's best to shoot those objects in the same light as the image your subject is in. You can tell you were doing the vail throws in a shadow covered area, yet subject is in a bright space. Look at the vail that is in the original image compared to the others. Sun is going right through those, where all others are darker. Just my $.02

Keep it up, and I agree with you, I like the foreground one and totally got the vibe you were going for.
