Wireless Remote For T3

I would like to add this little gadget to my camera bag, for $20 I think it would be worth it for what I plan to use it for. But, here's the problem.
Amazon has no reviews on it, and google turned up none either. Does this little thing actually work as a wireless remote for the a Canon T3?
