Wolves Sanctuary

I visited a wolf sanctuary yesterday. They were pretty sleepy and I only visited with a few wolves. That's my girlfriend in a few of the pictures.

First shot is a real winner!
I'd say worth even contacting the sanctuary as its just the sort of thing they could make use of. Who knows might even line a job up for you doing some more shoots (I'd say the shots with your GF show great moments and interaction, though would be good with a bit more depth of field to get her and the wolf in the plant of focus)

Thanks! I love the first one as well.
I recently transitioned to a FX camera and am relearning the DOF associated with my indicated aperture. Because on my old DX camera the aperture is multiplied, I am consistently shooting with a shallow DOF. I was mostly going for a shallow DOF for shots like the first, but when the subject changed to include my GF, a minor aperture bump didn't produce the added DOF results I'm used to.

Overall, I'm pleased with the photos.
