I didn't even notice that - I'm more bothered by that black spot on her dress (in color, it was red). I have NO idea what it was (maybe a flower?), but it wasn't dust or anything - this is the only photo it appeared on. Weird.

Thanks for you comments! That would be easy enough to clone out, but I'm happy with this - it's much more in the realm of photo journalism than most of what I do.

Nicely done! I love how her hair came out. I think the thing on her dress is some sort of heart-shaped accessory?

Nicely done, I wish three things - that you were a bit more to the right to catch a tiny bit more of her face, that the dress of the woman in the background wasn't such an ink blot, that the extra head wasn't
there and that it was more tightly cropped to remove extraneous stuff that lets the eye wander.

With a tighter crop the title would have been unnecessary.

Her hair just keeps drawing my eyes in. I really like the monochrome with the flat blacks. Works well in this instance. What was the lighting setup? Maybe a speedlight bounced off the ceiling?

LOL I wish I could! I have no idea what it is and it's driving me crazy! It was bright red, and as Andrew suggested, it was heart shaped.

Setup was on camera speedlight, bounced off tent at 45 degree/over shoulder angle (my go to!)

Lew - thank you for your feedback, as always. I quite like your crop, it even gets rid of most of that annoying spot!

I love this shot, I think it is perfect just as it is. I am not bothered by all those little details mentioned here, and wouldn't even have noticed them if they hadn't been mentioned.

Low res color version (just converted to JPEG, no other post work - don't judge me!). This is driving me bonkers and the second biggest reason I converted to BW (the first being I feel like it was a "made for BW" kind of image).

That was my first thought. Maybe someone was throwing a strawberry at the bride to get her attention.
