Wood ...Cock ... Pecker.

[dxqcanada1]

This is just a reminder to myself that I actually do take pictures.

We went driving today to look around further north ... autumn leaves ... possibly some good pictures.
Anyway, we bumped into this little one just sitting on a dirt road ... it only moved off the road after I got out of the car.

... and since I was editing stuff, I will through in an image I took in the summer.

Nice; who's the puffy little fellow in the top image?

[dxqcanada1]

?

Dennis, I have heard the name woodcock, but never seen one. Stubby little guy, but sorta cute.

I also like the woodpecker with his tongue out.

Very cool pics.

[tirediron]

Ah, never mind. I see what you did there.

[dxqcanada1]

Ah, I thought that was what you were questioning.

Great pic of that woodcock.

That puffy one has a long pecker

How much wood would a woodcock cock...?

[DarkShadow]

sounds like porn.

Gorgeous bird, though.

Very good images.....

Great pic of that woodcock.

It wasn't difficult ... it just sat there on the road even while we were driving up at it.
