Would love a photographers input

Im just comming out with a line of camera straps.

These are long 40" fabric Length, Plus ends and webbing to equal 52" They are designed to fit over your shoulder and across your chest.

I would to be able to offer quick connect ends as an option also.

I have started pricing these at 30$ with an option to alter them (length, width) for an additional 5 dollars. Am I out of the ballpark here?

I'm not sure how strong the fabric is, as straps are made of pretty strong stuff. They may be holding $10,000 of equipment, and if they break, guess who will be paying for the new equipment?

I would also offer a wide variety of fabrics. While there are a lot of female photographers, the majority is still male, so you need some "manly" fabric designs.

Many photographers are moving away from the traditional shoulder/neck strap and going to a sling type strap.

If I am doing photography on the street, I would prefer not to be noticed, and the colour of those straps would not help in that objective.

I would prefer all black or even a denim/jean material and colour.

you could make the straps out of ballistic nylon and then cover it with the different fabrics.

I agree that the strap should be ballistic nylon. Then you can cover it with other materials. I wouldn't wear a strap like the ones in the photo. Be sure to offer a plain black option.
