Yashica 35 YL

Hi everyone! I'm new here (and relatively new to photography) and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about/has any experience with this camera or any camera like it. This is my first film camera, I found it at a thrift store last summer and have since shot about 6 rolls with it (which all turned out way better than expected), and I believe it's from 1959. Any information is much appreciated!

I believe the YL was a Nicca designed camera (it has that look), as Yashica purchased that company in 1958 ... my guess only.
There were a couple of really fine interchangeable rangefinder cameras also put out that are really nice.

The YL and the YK were 2 new models for 1959.
