What's new

Yay! First pic from the D700 for CC...

looks like it produces some crisp phots. how do they look compared to your old camera

I think the first shot is fine, minus the trees. Nice DOF.

Anyways I just called my boss and told him I quit. I'm packing my bags to Minnesota.

Urmmm...why are you packing your bags to MN? You visiting?

It would seem that many of the resident leg-humpers have a school-boy crush on you and your sister. That's my guess as to the bag packing.

It was just sarcasm. Haven't been on this site much lately, why you busting my balls? I kid.

I love these compared to my old camera...wow...I love the effect, the vignetting out of camera...and the depth of field...also love the way it seems to curve the grass into a circular like pattern when I'm using it at 1.4 with my 50mm...

I am soooo antsy to go shoot more!

I really the last one, the pose, the purple tint in the shadows, did you use the 50 1.4?

I just saved and loaded this image and it looks like it was posted in Adobe RGB.
Images look best in sRGB because most browsers aren't color managed.

While your sister is lovely, the color balance in this is, imo, off to the blue.
It's difficult making corrections on a small picture but her it is, in sRGB, It still looks a bit greenish to me but.there isn't that blue veil over everything.

Oooh thanks! I will need to go reset my camera to sRGB...I like that it brings out the brown in her hair.

very nice shots - I like the second better - the first one she looks a bit white washed (dull) compared to the background. Her skin tone and the white outfit blend together. A gold reflector might have warmed her up a bit.
