You don't get oppurtunnities like this often. I shot this in the wild in a mangrove swamp off of Pelican Bay, Southwestern Fla. on the gulf.

Look close!!!;)

I count 6 of them (including mom).

Nice photo.
I'm surprised that the bird stuck around.

Nice shot man. did you use a zoom or were you brave enough to get up close.

I was about to say I can count 7 including mum - but then I noticed one was a reflection ;)!
bird has a "are those real?" look to it ;) - definatly a rare shot - and a daft birdbrain ;)

Thanks and a shameless bump:sexywink:

Even with zoom (exif says 200mm), that's a lot closer than I would want to be!

I was less than 10 meters away:mrgreen:

No guts no glory.

Birds and I myself don't move untill the gator submerges... then everyone just slinks away real cautiously:er:

That's an awesome shot!!

I love chance shots that you couldn't just go out and take if you wanted to.

Nothing to worry about. It'd eat the bird before it set it's sights on you.

great shot
some balls you have : )
Glad you and the bird got out fine hehe

Not guts ...just knowing your situation.

I don't have to love it... but I sure do. :)
