I suck at shooting birds, Im looking for a good zoom lens at the moment to start practicing.

Ha Lenny, she will be back for midnight snacks later, that's when they get all ninja and raid the hanging feeders lol. There is one that is on a shepherds pole, they keep climbing the pole, bend it over then stand on the ground reaching uppppp to grab the feeder and pull it down to them, its HILARIOUS to watch because when it slips the feeder (essentially about a foot wide metal disks with a collapsible metal mesh basket) flies around wildly and has more than once bopped one of them on the head lol! The pole is going to be re-purposed to hold the hummingbird feeder when they get back home lol

I kinda like that they aren't pets, they visit every day, I get to watch their families and I don't have to try to take care of them and deal with the mess they make lol My cousin brought a raccoon home when we were young and for a while Carlos Santanna Rigasso Fisher was the best raccoon ever... and then he started eating furniture and laid claim to my Uncle Ron lol not good, he went to a good rescue home and we all learned to not bring wild animals in the house the hard way, it was so sad to see him go despite his bad habits.

Awesome Raccon shots. Love all of them. I never see Raccons here during daylight unless there rabid or youngsters that stray.

If you own a Koi pond, raccoons are the devils spawn. They are kinda cute tho. I like the 2nd shot.

Great pictures! I love baby racoons. We had a family in our back yard tree once. It was an entertaining summer watching all the babies and mom trying to keep them in line.

Gees, these are just downright beautiful shots. Nice and low and showing good sharpness in these. Must be amazing to see these, I would be over the moon to get shots like these.

I love having these little ones around, always a great source for entertainment! I want to rub their ears between my fingers lol Angus loves when I do that and raccoon ears are so fuzzy!!
