'Your Move" Self Portrait

I feel real good about this one.

I didn't get the focus point I wanted, but I got a good one.

you don't look like your playing chess, you look like you just woke up, and I don't mean that in a bad way I'm saying your pose looks like you were sleeping and brought up your head. That's was my first thought, other than that I think it looks good!

I don't share phototard's thoughts, but wonder where you had actually wanted the focus point to be?

And maybe another light source on the other side could have been nice?

Focus was supposed to be on the front bishop. But the plane shifted. Not good or bad, but not where I intended. The look is supposed to be one of deep thought, patience and waiting for that moment to pounce.

Good catch on the focus. You can see the focus plain on the knight (off center of me)from the right all the way left and right. There are 3 pieces that are in pretty sharp focus (pawn, knight, rook and maybe the queen). I was having to run around my equipment as the timer ticked down. THis was my last shot. I like it regardless of the shift in focus.
