I like #10 & 12. I felt real emotion looking at them. The giraffe looks sad or thoughtful (I love the eyelash detail), and the flamingo looks shy, or maybe wise. I'm liking the colors in 14, and 15 looks like the cover to a calendar. The flamingo pics are very peaceful.

:)

Thank you Card D... :)

Hey, you have seen (and photographed) Roseate Spoonbills, too! :D
I think I know those birds by now ;).

There also are the close-ups on the Greater Flamingo ... I have some pics of those, though not as close-up (and the only one that is close is slightly out of focus here, grrr!), and also of the Cuban Flamingos which are quite red, very interesting to look at. I like your close-ups!

But I think the eye of the giraffe stands out most from this series.

All in all it would have been my preference to make them a tad darker, they look very bright on my (admittedly quite bright) monitor, but that is just me, I guess.

Thanks :)

Corinna You should post your close ups anyway! Id love to see them...

What a great series. Nicely done Holly. If I had to pic one fave, which is tough here, I would have to go with 12, with 9 a close second. Something about the look on that face.

Wow thanks every one...

Thanks Ken! Ive been trying to find the right sig for a while now.. :) Finally did one I like.. :)

After looking at these i realize 2 things...

1. You're a great wildlife photographer

2. Our zoo sucks...

Aww, I like the prairie dog and tiger. The tiger reminds me of an elderly noble who's used to being waited on. I like the interesting pattern in #15. Some interesting negative space as well. Nice shots.
