Dual photography?

    Hi everyone, i just heard of this new technology called dual photography where one can use a projector to take a photograph! not a camera, but a digital projector. has anyone played with this technology before?

    I remember reading about that on slashdot. Apparently they illuminate the subject with the projector pixel-by-pixel, and then read it with a camera, and then apply some algorithms and get the image as it is viewed from the projector's perspective. Very interesting.
