Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I need some help on workflow....i did a shoot for a family member for a baby dedication at our local church.

My question is where do i go to after the pictures are all edited and exported?

What proofs do i give to my clients? The Jpegs are really blown up and you can really see all the defects. When i put them up on flickr they look fine but when you view the originals they're way to big and in a way ugly.

What do you guys give your clients after a wedding or any kind of shoot?

It really depends on the kind of shoot.
This most similar to your situation that I shoot is a portrait session. Once I've edited all the ones I like, I'll shrink a copy of them down to websize - something like 600px x 800px for example and 72 dpi. This will prevent them from printing them themselves but is good enough to view on a monitor to order from.

Then once they tell me which ones they want to buy I just get them printed for them. If a digital copy of the files was also part of the deal I burn 2 versions. Web size versions for emailing to friends etc, and print size versions so they can get more printed themselves. But of course it depends on the original deal we struck.
