OK everyone, I have been lurking for a while and the more I read the more confused I get......
I want to buy an entry level camera to take GOOD pics and be able to later on use lens as well. Want to take all kinds of pictures, including macro, blurred background, pets, children, landscape, etc etc....
Low budget though. No more than $500ish.
Most likely will by lens laaaater....after I learned how to use the camera, etc.
I own a Canon Power shot SD600 and it has been great, but, I am now ready to put more time into good photography something I always appreciate very much, but know very little.....so, please, bare with me here, I am ready to learn. I did take some classes years ago in college and loved it...so, I do know some basics, but am not so familiar with terminology, etc.
I want a GOOD camera, no so pricey, that I can take great pics, with flash, in low light.... I would "like" to stay with the Canon brand, but not necessarily.
What would YOU get???
TIA
