I shot this with iphone panorama. This is cropped to a 3:1 aspect ratio. When the cat crossed in front of me I stopped moving to get the shadow then started moving again to get the rest. The cat and the shadow are completely separated. How does it look?
Beautiful place to shoot, although I didn’t get the sunrise planned I took this one I liked with the drama. I revisited the edit and I’m happier with it.
So I typically do landscape, nature, mountains, and animals. I lately though have been spreading out cause where I currently live I am not a fan of the "landscape" here and was getting burned out. So I started going out at night doing what I called "Nighttime Moments", so here is some of my...
Last edit before work.. I'll leave in peace now :). I swear I think I am almost done with Budapest pictures.....for now... I need to get out and shoot again, hopefully this weekend.
C&C always welcomed.

So maybe best I don't fire off new threads for each shot from here haha, so I will add a few long expo's in here if that's cool!
And sorry guys, it's more from Budapest, This time a long expo show of Chain Bridge and the traffic;

Budapest is not only a magnificent city at night, but both sunrise and sunset prove to be a beautiful time for capturing great skies, silhouttes and more of the city.
D850 - 70-300 @ 90mm - f/9
Even when on vacation we planned and committed to rising early with an idea of seeing the sunrise behind St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest. PhotoPills helped me out with when and where it was rising and so we headed out and I shot through the blue hours into the morning. Here's one of the...
So, Everyone who has ever visited Buda has this shot, I know it's cliche but hit was a dream of mine to shoot it..
I shot it a few times of a couple of nights, but this one was shot with the Multiple Exposure mode of the D850, 10 shots, 25 seconds..

This is by no means I would say one of the best shots I took on my recent trip to Budapest, it was the first morning, a hazy morning, not the best shooting time and certainly the sky didn't play, and after a long walk we ended up overlooking the city from Castle hill. It was my first real chance...
..Well, technically not an entire minute, but a blend of 4 exposures of between 6-20seconds.
The weather hasn't allowed me to get back to the mountains as yet so I headed downtown to play with some long exposures..
So I tried out the D850 multiple expo mode last few days...
I think I can still blend nicer in PS without the cloud stutter but its a nice feature to have.. Also, this is a part of Sofia, A lot of my mountain shots are shot in the mountain you see in the back, Vitosha ..
A shot of a place I've wanted to get to a few times to shoot, This was taken as walking to one of the compositions I knew I wanted to try, but as we walked we passed this puddle offering an unexpected reflection shot of the building.. I'm sure the street lights will annoy a lot of people but to...
A cold walk tonight took us to a place that's insanely busy with traffic but also a place I've wanted to shoot for a while; I'm looking for feedback on this edit as its just a fairly quick one, and yeah, I know, the sign is annoying :D

Morning all,
After visiting London in June for the Foo Fighters concert, I had been gagging to get back up there with the camera. That materialsed a couple weekends ago, visiting some of the City's famous landmarks and museums to get some shots a little out of my comfort zone. Nothing here...
With the dark nights and not much travelling it’s been time to explore the city again, mostly at night which gives chance for some nice long exposure photography. This is a shot of The Central Halls or Halite in downtown Sofia, light streaks kindly provided by the rush hour traffic and trams...
So, I wasn't quite sure if / where this topic would fit into the forum, however, please feel free to delete or move the post if it's not suitable here.
The reason I have posted here in the beginners forum, is to highlight that planning and practice are key to continued development and success...
Hi, I just finished my newest video, it's a hyperlapse. I took 20'000 photos and build it together with LRtimelapse Lightroom and After Effects. I hope you like it.
As a local, I take Niagara Falls for granted. I've been there dozens of times and often forget that I live 30 minutes from it when trying to plan photography outings. Last night I decided to take a ride up there to see what they had for Christmas lights, and was pleasantly surprised. Feedback...
Hi guys, I'm Max, I'd like to buy a new camera, I'm a bit lost between brands and types (DSLR vs mirrorless).
I was first looking for Canon, like the 80D or something like that, but looking around on internet I saw a lot of people talking about how they switch from Canon to Sony mirrorless...
I don't live in a city with huge tall skyscrapers but even in a small town or city here in Vermont, there are ways to get some sort of a city architecture type shot.

I took a few pictures of downtown Edinburgh the other night just before and after golden hour. Any CC is welcome as I've only started doing photography with a DSLR this year.

I always loved to casually snap photos whenever I go, and recently decided to take that important step of getting a fully manual camera. D3300 was the lucky winner, and I went out into the night to begin experimenting with all the fancy dials and settings. Some photos were heavily under-exposed...
I recently visited Manhattan and made my first attempts at photographing architecture in the city. I decided to push my boundaries a little further by converting some of these to black and white (I usually stick to color photography).
I would love to hear your feedback on these photos whether...
i was out in the center of stockholm a few nights ago and took some photos. and eventually i got confronted by the royal guards for photographing the royal palace. apparently they got suspicious when i was photographing it at 5am. all good though i showed them my pictures they said it was okay...
