C&C per req:1. I like this shot, but the blown sky behind is really distracting. This begs for a reshoot on a cloudless, early morning.2. Something about the crop isn't working for me. I think that it's a combination of the spray in the background being cropped and the bright/blown band running through the centre of the image. Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.~John

i tried to change the crop on the 2nd. I'll have to work on the blown out area in the center...

I love the second one. Well done in all areas.

I agree with what tirediron said about the first shot. On the second, the sense of overall scale is what isn't working for me and I agree that a different crop would help. I'd like to see less of the surf on the left and a bit more of the ocean at the top. Add more to the top would give the spray more space while still [I think] giving the sense of scale needed for the tiny surfers and big big ocean.
