What's new

3 pictures C&C please.

For some reason her face is darker in all of them like it's in shadows or something and her shirt like sticks out so much. I'm a newbie so I really don't know what I'm saying, but that's just what stands out to me.

Try a different composition so that you are not pointing toward the overblown sky...#2 has the strongest potential in my humblest of opinions...#3 you cut off the elbow and hand and #1 you cut off the knee...

In #2 I really like how she is looking at the fence which leads me back to her...nice job...

I'm sure others will have more to say...

I would research poses as well. She obviously isn't a chubby girl by any means, but the first photo gives her a bit of a belly.

They're good, but: Exposure, exposure, exposure! These images are screaming out for more light. Compare the expsoure required around her eyes/nose with that of the sky. Adding one or two fill lights would have reduced this range considerably giving you a correctly exposed face and sky. In addition, these image all share some common issues, notably composition and cropping. Watch for things such as the cropped finger tips in #2 and NEVER laterally bisect a limb (left forearm, #3).

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

Thank you for all the input. I wanted the blown out sky. It gave it that little washed out look with out haveing to edit it in.

I'm assuming you aren't going for the happy bubbly girl poses she just looks like she doesn't want to be there. search some different non smiling poses
Keep working it!

I would love to see a little more light on her face, maybe with a reflector down low facing up at her? I like the moody tween look :)

lol yeah, she's 10 and getting to that age of insecurity. But doesn't give me a hard time when I ask for a few shots. Now my 5yr old on the other hand. I have to fight her!
