365 project anyone?

Below is a link to my blog which I have used mainly as my Macro blog. I am turning it over to the project 52 weeks. Not much will change except that more than just macro might be posted (though macro will still be the main focus).

I need 48 more lol. I think I'm just going to think of themes a month at a time, unless I have a revalation and ideas come to me.

So far I have Snow, B&W, Food, and Portraits (I think). Once I get my 35 or 50 1.8 I'll add a DOF theme, and maybe a macro theme later in the year but I don't have a macro lens.

Oh alright yeah but i', doing 52 project with all portraits of myself. So I have to think about props to use. No macro or anything for me.

I tried a 365 last year, after 2 days I turned it into a 52 and only lasted 5 weeks of that.

I might try a 52 again this year...we will see haha.

Yes I'll be starting my 365 on 1.1.11. I haven't done that type of a regimented photo project before, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Mine is more of a daily diary, where each photo tells the story of the day. With 3 kids, I don't have time to go nuts with lighting setups and post processing every day.

Hahaha i'm just doing a self portrait, nothing fancy, no 3 set umbrella setup just a speedlight and a bunch of creativity. Only 52 for me.

I've been thinking about this for a while but like a lot of people I don't think I could do 365 but 52 sounds achieveable. I think the hardest part will be themes but a week is a reasonable amount of time to come up with something so I'm in for Project 52.

Perhaps start adding facebook/blog links here or a new thread so we can support/encourage and share ideas/themes etc?

I've started a Project 365 in this year, but after the 12th of May there aren't any pictures.

In 2011 I'm doing a Project 52 in a new flickr account.
My plan is taking 1-3 pictures in every week.

I got my 52 themes. Now just the creativity and idea of how to create the photo.

Well I've only got a couple days to decide, but I might do a very loose Project 365, where I don't necessarily have a set theme to stick to, but just resolve to post one photo per day. Some of them might end up getting shot with my iPhone instead of my D70 (and hopefully by halfway through 2011, a D7000), but I think that's a reasonable goal. Most of the time I get fidgety if I don't get my camera out at least once a day anyways.

I had already been kinda thinking about finding a nice spot to take a picture of the sunrise on Saturday morning, you know, the first sunrise of the new year. That would be a great way to start out a 365 project.

Ehh, as far as links go I'm debating which website to go with. From what I've seen, there's a lot of people using wordpress for their photo blogs. Right now I actually have a tumblr set up, but strongly thinking I'll be making the switch ASAP. fifty two weeks
