Thanks! Her dress, yes, the background was an add-in in post. It was shot against a plain yellow wall in the studio; I thought the drape effect added something.

It was one in a package of backgrounds I bought a while ago (Sorry, can't remember where/when/from whom).

I think Pixmedic has a point about the cig holder, I can visualise it with the curl of smoke rising up! - I may steal that idea and see if I can make it work ... if SWMBO will let me have lit tobacco in the house.

Thanks Grandad! The background work was easy; dark hair, dark background. If it was in colour and she had blonde hair, my mask might have looked a little rough. I like the cigarette holder idea; I may try that. As for SWMBO, just remind her, it's your house, and your rules, and you'll have a model with a lit cigarette in the house if you damn well want to (But I would recommend making reservations at a nice B&B and ensuring your camera gear is tucked away before asserting yourself!).
