A building in Chicago China Town

I took this picture around April 2008 in Chicago China Town. And I had first DSLR/SLR type camera for less than a month at that time.

This picture was taken with the EOS XTi/400D and the Kit Lens.

I just tone mapped it last night.

It's a very striking image. I like the urban quality in the lower part of the shot. Wish the man with the bicycle was fully in the shot. The top part of the shot could be cropped off. Not bad.

I feel the same way that the photo will look better if I can see the whole bicycle. I will try to take another shot next time I go to Chicago again. That photo was taken with the kit lens (photo taken with 17mm), and now I have a wider lens (14mm f/2.8 prime) so I should be able to capture more stuff in the picture.
