A couple of arachnids (wolf spiders?)

It's funny how terrified I am of these guys, until I have a camera in my hands (then the fear just disappears).

She was about two feet from the spider above, I waited around to see if they discovered eachother, but no such fireworks.

Tiny ones ok - but big ones - eh I'm still scared of them (because when you go behind the camera - that is when they jump/scuttle toward you whilst you're blind!).

Like the first shot, nice contrast and sharpness, but also the leg raised toward the viewer (in my mind at least) increases the contact with the viewer. Focus is also nailed right on the eyes - the second shot it looks like the main eyes are a tiny bit forward of the main focus (local sharpening and contrast boosts in that area might hide that appearance though)

The worst for me is when I line up the shot, get to the viewfinder or lcd screen, and they're gone!! I hate not knowing where they are when I know they're there somewhere ( I think that makes sense ).
