A friend took photos of me... which do I pick?

This will probably come off sounding bad, but you remind me of an anime character (maybe partly because of the hair?) I mean this as a compliment. You have a really attractive...face...shape....idk....

Honestly? Bin 'em all! You look tense and your expression is forced (or appears that way) in all of them. The dark top against the grey background does NOT flatter, and doesn't really say 'business' or 'professional' to me*. With your red hair highlight, I'd like to see you in a green top, with either a hairlight or a rimlight. *And yes, before you say anything, I am aware that my own 'about' image is utter crap and in dire need of a do-over, but you asked!

Well I'm going to use one, because it's the best I have available to me right now.

I don't own anything green. Doesn't really go well with my skin tone, in my opinion. Plus green and red... As much as I love Christmas... It's too Christmas.

Also, I don't know if you mean the top itself isn't professional or just the grey on grey, but I never meant for this to be anything more than casual.

I don't get all fancied up for my clients. My process is pretty laid back, and I want my clients to know that. If I get anyone looking for a photographer in slacks, they're not my ideal client.

I get dirty on my shoots. I wear jeans and a tshirt, if I'm not in a hoodie, haha.

Tough call. I like your smile/laugh in #3 the best, but the eyes say "This is actually KILLING me to do this."
I like the eyes a little better in the last one, and while the smile isn't as adorable as in #2, it's attractive--kinda cute, kinda sweet, kinda "I'm thinking evil thoughts and you don't even know it."

I guess I'd probably pick the last one.

I like number four because your arm goes behind your back. So instead of looking like it got cut off at the wrist it "fades" away.

Your smile looks great in 4 as well!

If I use one of the others, it's gonna get cropped up higher anyway, so it's not going to end up cropped at my wrist... but as long as you think my *face* looks okay in 4... that's good.

Good point, although I was thinking more of a dark green, NOT a Christmas green. With respect to the shirt comment, I'm the same way. I to what it takes to get the shot, and I often come home covered in dirt, mud,and/or soaking wet, BUT... I think your on-line presence would be much better served with something more 'business casual'; a long-sleeved, collared blouse or similar. I don't think a t-shirt really projects the ideal image, but then I'm also just a little bit >< conservative.

Why not do a casting call on MM or something like that? I'm sure you'd have no shortage of photographers wanting to shoot TF* with you.
